Wildlife
In Nova Scotia, we are not allowed to "own" wildlife of any kind. Therefore in order to provide a production with indigenous animals, we must use animals housed by a licensed Rehab facility, Zoo, or Wildlife Park.
Smaller animals are often acquired from our local rehabs. They are usually young abandoned animals that have been vetted and handled. They are not "trained" for film, but we work within the natural parameters of the species to achieve the shots required.
